9 Overseas (Hue, Vietnam)

Hue has great opportunities not only as an historical city but also as an advanced old and yet newly integrated ecological city. We could call Hue an 'Historical Eco City'. Furthermore, Hue has taken a unique city form in which the European and Asian styles are united, because it was much influenced by China and France in its Citadel construction.

Considering this historical and ecological diversity of urban form, it is possible for us to think about a new vision for Hue. We collected our research result from 1998 in the form of "Information Notes" which is used in reference for understanding and considering the urban planing of Hue
