Then we stayed at Kobe as supporters of the restoration plan, and we proposed the infill housing, joint rebuilding and "CHIZUKURI at Daikoku Park area’
Currently, we are developing an image database of Restoration MACHIZUKURI for utilization as a tool for the sustainable MACHIZUKURI, and also we are aiming to use these research results to reactivate the MACHIZUKURI

Disaster prevention in High-Density Wooden Housing Areas

Until recently, a maintenance target was made based on various indices, such as the proportion of wooden housing and the proportion of non-combustible areas in High-Density Wooden Housing Areas.

Recently, residents have been leaving their city/town, since the living environment in the developed urban district has been changed by disaster prevention, which is based only on standard methods.

Satoh Laboratory conducted research (Improving-System MACHIZUKURI) on a method of housing supply for the circulation of habitation in one area by investigating the residential histories in Kyojima, Tokyo, when the public work projects were determined.
